PRIA CETP

PRIA CETP & PRIA School

The Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) was established as an environmental compliance requirement, based on the understanding reached between this Association, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), and a third-party operator.

An independent company named PRIA CETP India Limited was incorporated in the year 2001 to undertake and operate the CETP.

The PRIA CETP plant was made fully operational in the year 2004.

In the year 2016, MIDC took over the operational charge of the CETP and currently remains in charge of its operations. However, the ownership and certain other related matters are under dispute and are sub judice.

PRIA School

The need for quality education for the wards of industrial workmen who migrated to the newly developed Patalganga Industrial Area, along with children from nearby villages, was strongly felt when the industrial area began developing in 1983.

Addressing this need, the management of the Association, with active support from leading industries such as HOCL, HIL, Bombay Dyeing, Reliance, Cipla, Jaysynth Dye Chem, and Lona Industries, established PRIA School in the MIDC Residential Area at Mohopada, located within just a 2 km radius of the industrial area.

Established in the year 1984, PRIA School has earned a strong reputation for delivering quality English-medium education at an affordable fee structure. Currently, more than 1,700 students benefit from its educational services.

Journey of PRIA School

PRIA School is a non-aided, Government-recognized institution offering education from Nursery to Standard X. The foundation of the school was laid on 18th June 1984 with just 10 students and two teachers.

The initial classes were conducted in the Guest House of the Bombay Dyeing Colony. Today, the school has grown significantly, with a student strength of 1,630 and a dedicated staff of 68 members.

The school now operates from its own campus equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities. The medium of instruction is English, and the school follows the syllabus and academic pattern prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra.
